Scientific/Technical Director, Global Dairy Platform | Rosemont, IL
Global Dairy Platform’s Scientific/Technical Director is accountable
for leading the development and interpretation of research and evidence to support the delivery of GDP’s vision,
that milk and dairy products are valued as a key component of a sustainable, nutritious and healthy diet.
The Director is primarily responsible for providing a global voice and leadership within the dairy sector for
nutrition and health, and is also responsible for engaging in the broader range of research activities that GDP is
involved with; for example, in areas of sustainability and dairy development. The Director will work with the GDP

available to support GDP’s plans.

addition, the VP of B2B Communications will work collaboratively with other senior leads within the broader

The purpose of this position is to lead and manage National Dairy
Council (NDC) product research programs that support Dairy Management Inc. (i.e. Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy,
U.S. Dairy Export Council, Global Innovation Partnerships, Global Sustainable Nutrition Affairs and Research) and
its’ partners short and long-term goals. Provide technical expertise and counsel to the organization in the areas
of dairy science, product and process technology, dairy product quality and safety. Ensure research outcomes from
the program are communicated to NDC partners and the dairy industry. Serve as an internal and external resource on
product science and technology issues/opportunities.
