Manager Regulatory Affairs – National Dairy Council | Rosemont, IL

Assist in management of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs program and work with an impressive team of scientists who are seen as dairy subject matter experts. Lead the development of written scientific summaries and provide new messaging opportunities for multiple stakeholders, aligned with business priorities. Lead review of evidence-based nutrition communication materials for external audiences and support Scientific & Regulatory Affairs daily activities. Communicate with all levels of DMI staff, as well as the dairy and scientific communities.

Manager Sustainable Nutrition | Rosemont, IL

The Dairy community’s health and sustainability commitment has a broad vision to provide consumers with the nutritious dairy products they want in a way that is economically viable, environmentally sound, and socially responsible. National Dairy Council (NDC) has a 100-year legacy in nutrition, and in 2008, we added a commitment to sustainability as an organization. The person in this new role will help NDC integrate our knowledge in nutrition and sustainability with sustainable food systems. The Manager will serve as the resident expert and resource on dairy foods as part of sustainable food systems, with an emphasis on public health nutrition and food security, for National Dairy Council and the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy.

SVP Sustainable Nutrition Research | Rosemont, IL

The SVP develops the strategic plan for nutrition research, with input from the nutrition research advisory committee, DMI staff, dairy/food processors, and other sources. Provides oversight to the daily execution of the Sustainable Nutrition Research program. Provides technical expertise and counsel to the organization in the areas of nutrition and health, with emphasis on impact to the dairy industry. Integrates within the Sustainable Nutrition Affairs and Sustainable Nutrition Research teams. Ensures research outcomes from the program are communicated to DMI innovation center, communication, regulatory staff and States & Regional (S/R) staff. Serves as an internal and external resource on nutrition science issues.

Vice President, Global Innovation Partnerships | Rosemont, IL

Vice President of Global Innovation Partnerships will serve as the lead Dairy Management Inc. (DMI) contact for a number of our global innovation partnerships. Partnerships include large foodservice companies as well as manufacturers of retail products. This role will include partnerships with international business units of U.S. companies. It will be based in DMI’s Rosemont office and will require 25-30% travel, including Asia.

Vice President, Marketing Communications, Sustainable Nutrition | Rosemont, IL

The Marketing Communications team is seeking an experienced consumer marketing communications professional with a foundational knowledge of nutrition, health and sustainable food systems and the ability to help translate science and insights into relevant and engaging influencer, media, and consumer content. The role includes close collaboration with research experts and the Global Sustainable Nutrition Research (GSNR) team to meet the strategic business plan. This individual will play an instrumental role in the strategic and integrated development and execution of communication plans, projects and scope of work within a collaborative, matrixed team environment to tell dairy’s story — based on science but driven by emotion and consumer-relevance.

Senior Vice President, Internal Communications | Rosemont, IL

Seeking a dynamic and strategic internal communications leader to join Dairy Management Inc. (DMI). Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, this individual will play an instrumental role in developing the strategy that will effectively inform and engage internal stakeholders with DMI’s business priorities. In addition, the SVP of Internal Communications will work collaboratively with other organizations within the dairy checkoff and community to develop strategies, protocols and resources that enable strong proactive and reactive issues management and response. This individual will also join the broader Integrated Marketing and Communications team and work closely with other senior leads to ensure seamless integration. DMI is seeking a candidate with a strong interest and proven track record within food and agriculture, internal and executive communications, as well as issues and reputation management.

Vice President, B2B Communications | Rosemont, IL

Seeking a dynamic and strategic B2B communications leader to join Dairy Management Inc. (DMI). Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, this individual will play an instrumental role in developing the strategy that will effectively inform and engage key stakeholders, focusing on B2B and industry, with DMI and the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy’s business priorities. In addition, the VP of B2B Communications will work collaboratively with other senior leads within the broader Integrated Marketing and Communications team to ensure seamless integration. DMI is seeking a candidate with a strong interest and proven track record within food and agriculture, B2B and industry communications and marketing, as well as media relations and digital/social communication.

Senior Vice President – Strategic Intelligence: Strategy and Insights

Seeking a strategy and consumer insights professional with experience working with research and data to uncover insights to inform business strategy. Experience in using more innovative research methods (Lean Start-up, Technology company, Global Research or Innovation agency) or the propensity to try out-of-the-box methods, is a must. The candidate should have experience analyzing both the U.S. and global markets with a proven track record of “connecting dots” across information sources to build meaningful intelligence and inform business strategies. The candidate should be comfortable working in a free-form, ambiguous working environment where candidate is expected to develop achievable personal/professional goals and goals for the organization in order to protect and promote the industry now and in the future.
